I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. The beauty is in the details of Buena Vista Street. As I look back at my photos taken opening day and before I am still struck by how incredibly beautiful everything is. I recently met with Cheryl Spence, Disneyland Resort spokesperson and we chatted about some of the great new shopping experiences on Buena Vista Street. Watch the interview and then learn more about the different stores.
Want to see more of the Buena Vista Street stores? Here’s the lowdown on where you can shop ’til you drop in style.
Los Feliz Five and Dime
Located on the east side of Buena Vista Street, Los Feliz Five & Dime is themed to appear as a vintage five-and-dime or variety store. Guests can purchase t-shirts, fleece, hats, figurines, souvenirs and more. (The Los Feliz area of Los Angeles is near the site where Walt Disney’s Hyperion studios were built.)
Elias and Co.
Elias & Co., named after Walt Disney’s father, Elias, is Buena Vista Street’s flagship store and the largest shopping location in the land. It pays tribute to the opulent art deco style department stores of yesteryear, selling apparel, watches, handbags, accessories and more. Each section of the store is more amazing than the next with breath-taking architecture, lighting and fine details.
Atwater Ink and Paint
Atwater Ink & Paint is a Hollywood-style market house selling coffee, tea and other delectable treats to enjoy or take home. The name refers to the Atwater Village district of Los Angeles, a regular haunt of animators in the early days of the Disney Studio.

Did they bring back the Mr. Potato head station? I didn’t see it, and didn’t get a chance to ask. I’ll be so sad if it’s gone 🙁
