The Disneyland Resort has offered up some really great experiences for the 2013 Limited Time Magic campaign so far. Not only are they offering special Limited Time Magic events for Annual Passholders, every person visiting the Disney Parks can take advantage of the fun! Here is a closer look at some of the Limited Time Magic experiences that I have gotten the chance to enjoy and I’m so excited to share with the Babes in Disneyland readers!
Park-goers got the unique opportunity to see a limited time showing of “The Salute to the Golden Horseshoe Revue,” from January 10 to February 4. The show is inspired by the same Frontierland show that Walt Disney himself used to enjoy and is an homage to the family-friendly musical variety shows of yesteryear. Featuring Ms. Lilly and her Saloon girls, the show aims to honor the classic production featuring Disney legends Betty Taylor and Wally Boag.
I opted to enjoy the Annual Passholder 6:30 p.m. dinner show, which featured a commemorative boot mug filled to the brim with corn chips, a plated dinner of two different sandwiches and some delicious sides, and a reproduction of Walt and Lilly’s 30th anniversary cake. If you look closely at the cake, it features an image of their anniversary imprinted on the frosting! It was an entertaining performance that evoked Disney magic and my friends and I had an enjoyable dining experience.
Valentine’s Day & True Love Week
For True Love Week from February 11 – 17th, many of The Disneyland Resort’s restaurants offered special Valentine’s menus. As an early Valentine’s Day surprise, my fiance treated me to dinner at the Carthay Circle Restaurant. It turns out that actual Valentine’s Day reservations were completely booked up nearly 2 months prior. If you plan on celebrating Valentine’s at the Parks next year, make sure to get your reservations in once they become available (reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance.)

Oz The Great & Powerful 4-D Preview
Each guest was given a commemorative button and a bottle of bubbles featuring an image from the film. The preview featured 4-D effects in the theater, such as wind and even a sprinkle of rain! I’m really excited to see this movie, which is set to open March 8. Between now and March 31, all guests who visit Disney California Adventure can experience this great preview.
Hoping everyone gets to experience some of these fun Limited Time Magic events at the Disneyland Resort in the future.
