Earth Day is Friday, April 22, and Disney Junior will be celebrating with specially themed episodes of its hit shows “Jake and the Never Land Pirates” and “Handy Manny.”
In “Jake and the Never Land Pirates” (airing at 8:30 a.m. ET/PT), Jake and his crew help sea creatures Sandy the Starfish and Marina the Mermaid when Captain Hook threatens their underwater habitat by searching for sunken treasure.
I don’t know about your kids, but my boys are completely obsessed with Jake and his crew. It’s all I hear about! If your little ones are in love with Jake and the gang, they will probably like the video I shot at a private concert with Sharky and Bones in Walt Disney World last month. I am not the best camera person out there and I was a little excited (oh, just a little), but considering more than 1,000 people have watched the video, it can’t be that bad! Oh I wish my boys would watch those shows (they are 13 & 15 at this moment – why do they grow up)

Thanks for the heads’ up on Jake and the Pirates – it’s one of the few shows my boys AND my Princess can agree on!
