Welcome to the Disney Blog Hop. I would like to start today’s hop by apologizing to all of the hoppers for not keeping up with the hop as well as I should. The last month or two have been totally chaotic for my family with so much going on that I’ve felt like I’ve barely had enough time to minimally keep up with my blog. I feel awful and noticed that less people have been joining the hop. I’m hoping that’s because of summer vacations and others feeling the crazy impact of summer like I’ve felt and that it hasn’t been declining interest in the hop. In order to hopefully increase traffic back to the hop, I am making the linky available to all anyone who wants to post it on their blog so that everyone can co-host. I will do the linky like this for the next couple of weeks so that we can hopefully build the hop back up.
As far as my blog goes, I hope you have been enjoying my coverage of the D23 Expo. I have lots more coming–video interviews, pictures, and so much more. To read all of my coverage of the 2011 D23 Expo, click here.
All of that being said, I would like to thank all of you who continue to participate in the hop and read my blog. I feel so blessed to have “met” so many incredible Disney fans through blogging. You are all amazing and inspire me to keep writing and blogging when I feel totally overwhelmed. Thank you!!! I will (hopefully) get my act together and post more about future blog hops next week. I totally understand…family always comes first. Love your blog and look forward to whenever you write a post.
I love the hop and hope you will continue it!! I think the reason for decline in participants is due to the reasons you mentioned: school starting, summer ending, etc. I think also people like to plan in advance. When I have your topic days/ weeks ahead I write it when I have time and schedule it to post on hop day. Then all I have to do is link up on the actual day. When I don’t find out the topic until the day before or day of, I don’t always have time to prepare a post. I’m the weird one and LOVE to write about your topic. I usually don’t link up unless I’ve actually posted about the topic- even though 99.9% of my blog is Disney related!! That’s just me though!!
