Framed Cars Art |
I love Disney touches around the home, to remind you in your everyday life of your “second home” at Disneyland or Disney World. However, I’m personally not a fan of emblazoning everything with Mickey or Winnie or what-have you. My kids rooms have Disney themes, but they are more subtle and I think more unique!

My son’s favorite toys forever-and-always have been toy cars, and so of course he became a total fan of Cars the movie! It all began with this Cars lithograph – I don’t know where it came from, but we recieved a set of all the Pixar movie posters at some point and Liam was in heaven. This picture and the Mater pillow are the only two things that represent the Cars characters, but we took the theme and ran with it in our own direction.

We chose to take the Cars theme in a more realistic direction, by using real traffic signs and license plates as decor. I like to stay practical and not too overdone.
I’m lucky to have some very handy people in my family who like to sew and have made or helped make my kids one-of-a-kind quilts and bedding. The other room details were found on the cheap at a flea market, or give to us.
