The CHOC Walk in the Park Babes in Disneyland team has grown to 11 members and we are hoping for more readers to join us the morning of October 17. By walking with our team, you will not only get to experience walking through Disneyland before it opens, but you’ll be raising money for a great cause–Orange County’s kids. Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) is committed to the health and well-being of children through clinical expertise, advocacy, outreach and research that brings advanced treatment to pediatric patients regardless of their family’s ability to pay. Monday Must Have: Safety 1st Aerolite LX Deluxe Stroller Review and Giveaway (CLOSED)
August 16, 2010 in All Posts, babies & toddlers, favorite products, review
For today’s Monday Must Have, I am happy to share with you the Safety 1st Aerolite LX Deluxe stroller. I have been testing out this stroller for about a month and it’s been fantastic. What makes this product great? This stroller easily collapses and can be opened using one hand. It is VERY easy to get in and out of the car. When the stroller is folded, it goes pretty flat considering its overall size. I love the dark color because it hides inevitable stains and the sunshade allows for greater coverage for baby on sunny days. Extra sunshade...
On Wednesday I attended the World of Cars Online media event party. The celebration was held at the famous L.A. landmark Bob’s Big Boy in Burbank, California. The car hop area of this famous eatery was transformed into Flo’s V8 Cafe and inside guests were treated to Bob’s famous Big Boy burgers (slider versions), along with milk shakes, fries, and other classic diner fare. After walking the red carpet with the likes of Tori Spelling, Melissa Joan Hart, Garcelle Beauvais, and a bunch of teen actors I have never seen before, my three boys (plus one of my son’s...

August 11, 2010 in All Posts, guest post, walt disney world
Welcome to Babes in Disneyland’s first Walt Disney World Wednesday. You know that this is the place to come to for all things Disneyland. In light of the fact that one of my favorite guest writers for B.I.D. (Melissa) is planning a Walt Disney World vacation for her family, I thought it might be nice to offer all of you a little bit of insight on how to plan for a trip to Florida. In spite of working for Disney for five years, I know very little about Walt Disney World. I hope you find the posts in this...

For today’s Monday Must Have, I am happy to share with you a Alpha Sherpa backpack by Baby Sherpa. By Guest Blogger, MelissaMelissa is a mom of two boys, ages 4 and 3, from Temecula, California. When she is not having fun with her kids at the Disneyland Resort, she enjoys camping and watching the Angels. She has been a Babes in Disneyland reader for a long time and has contributed to the blog in the past. I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve used my children to foster my addiction to all things Disney. I can and have used them as an excuse to wear a Tinkerbell adorned T shirt any day of the week. But...
