One of the best parts of visiting Disney Parks is the culinary circus of tastes! I’m going to try to post on a monthly basis pictures of some of my favorite foods. I hope that my pictures and recommendations inspire you to try new things or revisit some old favorites. Rose and Crown Pub, Epcot, Walt Disney World I’m pretty much a fan of EVERYTHING at the Rose and Crown because I adore English food and I think that the Rose and Crown has the absolute best atmosphere of any Disney Parks restaurant. This picture is so sweet, that when Mickey and Minnie embraced even the most jaded of news photographers at this Disney Junior event held at the Disney Studios melted and smiled.
The CHOC Walk in the Park is just around the corner. On October 16th, thousands of CHOC Children’s supporters will walk through the Disneyland Resort at the 21st Annual CHOC Walk in the Park. Last year, over 14,000 participants raised $2 million helping to support the care, services, education and research that CHOC provides children. Now, every step means more. As CHOC expands the services provided throughout the community, your support will help more children–in addition to making sure that every child who is in need will receive care regardless of their family’s ability to pay. So far, the...

in All Posts, characters, Tips & Tricks for Families, what to pack
It’s hard to enter a store right now without encountering a barrage of Halloween items and costumes…which got me thinking. Why do we reserve kids’ costumes to just Halloween? In all honesty, costumes are a 365-day holiday in our house. There is rarely a day that goes buy that someone isn’t wearing some sort of costume, Storm Trooper helmet, or at least an eye patch. And when it comes to places my boys where their costumes, the Disneyland Resort is top on my list. Next time you are packing your family’s bag for the Disneyland Resort, don’t forget...

I would have loved these new nursery items backwhen my first son was born. I’d still love ’em nowfor Baby C! I had my first son more than 6 years ago. While I was pregnant, we designed the nursery in a vintage Disney motif that we have carried through ’til today. As a Disney Mom, I dress my kids in Disney clothes and love it when I come by linens and other items for my babies. In comes Disney Baby. There are many Disney-licensed items out in the market, but Disney Baby items baby items to the next level...

The build up to the Jake and the Never Land Pirates DVD and music CD soundtrack has almost been unbearable for moms and dads with children who are obsessed with the new Disney Junior smash. I’ve gotten so many comments and emails from Never Land Pirate fans (moms) around the WORLD who have been anxiously awaiting the day they can “roll the map” and “talk like a pirate” to their own CD. And of course, I cannot forget all of you who have been dying to be able to take Jake and his buddies with you on the road,...
Meet the voices behind Phineas and Ferb + win a DVD of the Phineas and Ferb the Movie!
in All Posts, Disney entertainment, video
Every so many years, cartoons come along that capture the entire family, and Phineas and Ferb is one such cartoon. A staple on the Disney Channel, it’s just one of those shows that the entire family can agree on because it is funny and entertaining for both kids and adults. My boys love to laugh at Phineas and Ferb’s adventures and my husband and I appreciate the subtle jokes aimed at adults. At the D23 Expo, I was lucky enough to interview three of the cast members of Phineas and Ferb. After they finished signing autographs for their adoring...

Do you know where you guests can find these wood carvings of Captain Hook, Mr. Smee, and Tick Tock in Fantasyland? And the answer is…Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Why the Never Land characters, you ask? Great question! Until Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique opened in 2009, this store was known to Disneyland guests and Cast Members as the Tinker Bell Toy Shop.
If you are a long-time reader, you know that I have three boys–Aidan, Brandon and Connor. All three of my boys are pictured in my blog masthead. Do you know who the fourth child is? That’s a picture of me from my first trip to the Disneyland Resort when I was about four. What luck that my parents happen to buy me a red cowboy had that day! Hope you’re have a great Saturday!
