February 2, 2012 in All Posts, dining, disneyland resort, Tips & Tricks for Families
When it’s dinner time at the Disneyland Resort our family never questions where we’ll be digging in–it’s always the Plaza Inn. The beautiful Victorian-designed restaurant, complete with crystal chandeliers and ornate window coverings, is located on the east side of Main Street near the entrance to Tomorrowland. It offers hearty, tradition dinners including pot roast, pasta dishes, salads, delicious desserts and our go-to dinner, fried chicken. Remember “back in the day” when everyone raved about Mrs. Knott’s fried chicken over at Knott’s Berry Farm? It used to be the gold standard for down-home theme park food that tasted like...

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday: On the other side of the gate at the Disney Studios
February 1, 2012 in All Posts, photography, Walt Disney Studios
Last weekend, my boys and I attended the premiere of the new Jake and the Never Land Pirates movie (Peter Pan Returns) at the Disney Studio. I drive by the studio almost every day and thought it would be fun to post a few pics of what it is like behind the gate. Just in side the Alameda Gate at the Disney Studios lot in Burbank. The Team Disney Building on the Disney Studios lot in Burbank. Old Animation Building on the Disney Studios lot in Burbank. Next week, I’ll be featuring some beautiful pictures of the Legends Plaza!

There’s no denying it. I’ve led an amazing Disney life. I was a tour guide, I’ve attended exclusives and premieres, experienced the amazing Disney archives and much, much more. I am honored and blessed to have had so many incredible experiences. All that being said, believe it or not, I do have a Disney bucket list. 1. Go on a Disney cruise in the Caribbean with my family. 2. Go to Aulani with my family. 3. Take my husband to Club 33. 4. Take my family to Walt Disney World. (I’ve gone without them…shame on me!) 5.
