in All Posts, disney california adventure, entertainment, entertainment tips, Hollywood Pictures Backlot, Tips & Tricks for Families, tips for guests with special needs
We all know that some advertisements might embellish, like a car salesman trying to pass a lemon off as a Benz. There is no false advertising in this statement: Aladdin is a musical spectacular!! Gigantic double exclamation marks and rock star jump! Aladdin- A Musical Spectacular! sits at just to the edge of “a bug’s land”, juxtaposed to the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, and nestled under a glittering marquee in the Hyperion Theater. To say that this is a “musical spectacular” hits the nail right on the head. The first time we decided to watch the show, the...

Hello Babes in Disneyland Blog Readers!! My name is Kendra, and I am a minivan-driving, trip-planning, “Mouse”-loving, mommy, wife, and full-time corporate worker bee trying to make the most of my crazy life. My husband Chris and I live two hours north of the “Happiest Place on Earth” with our amazing kiddos, Evan and Emma. Whether I am traveling with first-time visitors or seasoned professionals, one of my favorite ways to add magic to an itinerary is to visit one of the five character dining options that the Disneyland Resort has to offer. This family-friendly resort is unique in that it offers family suites that sleep up to six comfortably and provide mom and dad their own bedroom and bathroom. During the Disney Social Media Moms conference in April, I had the chance to get a look at the resort before it opens to guests and I’m excited to share this video with you!
In honor of Mothers Day, this coming Sunday, I thought I would post one of my favorite pictures taken at Disney California Adventure Park, inside of Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. I have always seen it as a mama bear and her cub cuddling up to her. Isn’t it sweet? Happy Mother’s Day to all of our Babes in Disneyland Readers! The exhibit opens to the public Friday, July 6, 2012. I can’t wait! It’s going to be a wonderful opportunity to see many of the treasures that have been locked away from public view at the Disney Archives. Photos courtesy of D23.

Some even wore entire vests, hats or other items covered with pins, and we wondered what all the fuss was about. For a while, we smugly patted ourselves on the back for resisting the temptation of yet another Disney-related hobby that we assumed was expensive and maybe even a bit silly. The truth was we really didn’t understand what pin trading was or how it could enhance our visits to the resort. ...
