This week, we were asked what our favorite places to relax in Disney California Adventure were, and why…
“My favorite place to relax in Disney California Adventure Park is on the patio at Flo’s V8 Cafe. After enjoying one of the home-style rotisserie classics at this fun Cars Land restaurant, it’s a wonderful place to take in a spectacular view of the Cadillac Mountain Range in Ornament Valley. My son is not quite tall enough to ride Radiator Springs Racers yet, so he watches with delight as cars speed by on the thrilling attraction!”
“Without a doubt, my family’s favorite spot to sit and relax while still soaking in the Disney magic is in the Animation building in Hollywood Land. There are a number of neat attraction in the building, but the main room that you enter into is our favorite part. There is lots of floor space for kids who want out of their stroller to get down and run/crawl/play – and comfy couches for the adults who want to sit and rest their feet. It’s also dark and cool in there, which also makes it a nice spot if you are waiting out a napping kid in the stroller. The 360 degrees of screens running a sort of collage of Disney movies and music gives adults and kids something very special to enjoy while you take a break!”
“Our favorite place to relax is on the benches just outside of The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure ride. It’s usually a low traffic area and the view of Mickey’s Funwheel is awesome from that vantage point.”
“It’s a tie for me between the seating area for Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta near the bandstand or inside the Animation building. A good case could be made for the Carthay Circle Fountain, too.”
“I recently discovered the Alfresco Lounge on the 2nd floor of the Golden Vine Winery. There are food and drinks available, comfortable chairs, and a gorgeous view of Carsland – especially when it lights up. You can easily make a reservation through Disney DINE and sometimes you feel like you’re in a winery and not at a Disney park! It’s a great place to escape.”
Those are our favorites, now share yours! We’d love to hear what you have to say and share it with our readers.
