This week, we were asked what our favorite attraction is to ride with kids in Disney California Adventure, and why…
“My favorite attraction to ride with kids in Disney California Adventure Park is Monsters, Inc. Mike and Sulley to the Rescue! in Hollywood Land. There’s no minimum height requirement, so our whole family can enjoy it together. After boarding a taxi cab for a tour of the monster city, Mike and Sully lead us on an adventure through the familiar landmarks of Monstropolis as they return Boo to her bedroom, all the while dodging C.D.A. Agents and that sneaky chameleon, Randall! We look forward to the end of the attraction to hear the sassy comments Roz has to say about our group.”
“My favorite attraction to experice with kids (or anybody!) in California Adventure is definitely Soarin’ Over California! It’s such an incredible ride, lots of little delights here and there between the smells and the ‘close call’ feelings you get going over waves or with the golf ball. I love watching my son’s or neice and nephew’s faces on that one. I love to experience the ride on my own, but experiencing it with kids takes it to another level of magic.”
“My kids are of very different minds when it comes to rides. My Son is a thrill seeker and loves California Screamin’ where my Daughter would prefer to ride the carousel all day. Having said that though the one ride we can all agree on and ride together is Soarin’ Over California- it’s so neat to point out where we live as well as all of the places in California that we’ve visited.”
“My favorite attraction to ride with the kids at DCA is Soarin’ Over California. There is NOTHING that beats the look on a kid’s face the first time they are lifted high above the ground and begin to soar.”
"My favorite attraction to experience with kids is Turtle Talk with Crush. The intereaction is so much fun!"
“My 4 year-old nephew really enjoyed Tow Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree. It has enough thrills and a sharp spin where he said it was exciting (similar to the thrill of Disneyland’s teacups), but it’s slow enough not to spook the kids too much.”
Those are our favorites, now share yours! We’d love to hear what you have to say and share it with our readers.
