At the beginning of 2014 we wrote about the idea of making a Disneyland Resolution – thinking of something we wanted to try or do at the Disneyland Resort that we had never done. And in a previous Ask the Disney Expert post, we shared some of those things we wanted to do. I’m happy to report that we all met a goal in 2014! And yet again, we have reached out to some of our favorite fellow Disneyland experts to hear what goals they also accomplished.
In 2014, we did a lot of fun things we had never done before–including the character meet and greets with Thor and Captain America and seeing the Aladdin show in Disney California Adventure. My most memorable moment was taking my parents on Luigi’s Flying Tires for the first time. It was such a blast and I loved seeing the smile on my mom’s face. She had a lot of tough things happen in 2014 and seeing her happy on that ride was such a wonderful moment. In 2015, I am hoping to plan more one-on-one date days with my boys in the parks. As my kids get older, it is getting harder to schedule quality time with them and I don’t want to lose sight of how important Disney magic and imagination is in our lives. – Lisa
My biggest Disney goal for 2014 was to travel to a Disney destination that I had not yet been to. I was lucky enough to travel to Oahu, more specifically, Disney’s Aulani, last Spring Break. The Aulani is positively amazing and it was truly such a fun and relaxing trip. For 2015 I’d like to visit another Disney resort that I have not previously been to. I have my sights set on Walt Disney World, and possibly a Disney Cruise as well. – Kendra
The Disneyland goal I met for 2014 (well really, for my liftetime) was to visit Club 33!!! I was speechless when I got the invitation, and then basically couldn’t stop talking about it for a week! My husband and I felt like it was a once in a lifetime experience for us and tried to soak up the experience as much as we could. We toured every last inch, asked a million questions, and took far too many pictures, oh, and not to mention we immensely enjoyed our meal. It was truly a memory we will cherish forever! For the upcoming year, my goal is that I will be able to plan a “Surprise! We’re going to Disneyland TODAY!”trip and get the reactions on film! – Jessica
Our crazy goal this year was to stream the ENTIRE 24 hour #DisneySide Disney day. We had high hopes from the moment the year began that they would do another 24 hour day at Disneyland and it turned out to be quite the adventure. Our coverage ended up being over 30 hours and was the ultimate Disney adventure. For 2015, I would really like to make sure I experience every attraction and show that the Disneyland Resort has to offer before the end of the year. – Mr. DAPs
I accomplished one of my biggest Disney goals ever this year! I got to celebrate my 40th birthday at the Tokyo Disney Resort. I only need to travel to Hong Kong and Shanghai (when it opens) and then I can say I’ve been to every Disney park in the world, which is my ultimate Disney goal. I don’t see it happening in 2015, but one day it will!!! – Heather
One of my Disneyland goals in 2014 was to take at least one solo trip to Disneyland. I always revel in the opportunity to go with friends and family, but I really wanted to go one time all by myself and just go at my own pace – just me and the Parks. I was happy to say that not only did I have a successful solo trip, I only had to wait 5 minutes for the coveted Dole Whip Float – it was a truly awesome experience. For 2015, I hope to finally take a guided tour in the Parks and take more photos! I also hope to start my own Disneyland blog as well. =)- Vy
As my ultimate goal is to always experience all that the Disneyland Resort has to offer, I am definitely someone who makes yearly Disneyland resolutions. My resolutions for last year was to visit the remodeled Club 33 and luckily I have been able to do so a few times now in order to see all the many changes there for myself. For 2015, my Disneyland resolution is to be there in person to celebrate on the 60th anniversary of the Disneyland Park. I want to see all the diamond anniversary magic firsthand. I want to be there on the special day itself in order to celebrate and honor both my happy place and my personal hero, Walt Disney. – Beth

I know it must have something to do with trademarks, but why can’t we get Fantasia Ice. Cream anymore. It was always a traditional treat on our trips to the Magic Kingdom and I miss this tasty treat!

I’m sorry! I wish I could help with that, Gary.
