In this Ask the Disney Expert, we are sharing our favorite Disney-themed gift we received (or gave ourselves) this last year!
My favorite Disney-themed gift from the holiday season was the Discover Disney playset that Santa brought my boys. They all love playing with it–even the older guys! They get out all of their plastic Disney figures and little people and have fun creating character meet and greets and even make PhotoPass Cast Members. If Santa didn’t bring one to your house, you can also get them at Walmart. – Lisa
The best Disney-themed gift I got in 2014 were my RunDisney Cinderella New Balance shoes. I’d been wanting a pair for quite some time and was excited when my family surprised me with a pair on Mother’s Day morning. I love being able to show my Disney side from Mickey Ears to toe when in the parks and the shoes help me do just that. I recently bought my second pair- the Retro Minnie and can’t wait to wear them!

I’m totally mug crazy, so my favorite Disney-themed gifts I got this year were two new Disney mugs I got when we were in Disneyland last fall. Of course my Club 33 mug, to commemorate our first visit there, and also the most adorable mug of retro Disneyland.

Perhaps one of my favorite gifts this Christmas were silver glasses to recreate the Mint Juleps served in Club 33 while at home. I may not be able to recreate the dining experience of Club 33 at home but I’ll definitely enjoy its signature drink!

My very favorite Disney themed gift, given to me by me… is most definitely my Haunted Mansion self portrait from MementoMori in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. My boys and I took a trip to Orlando over Winter Break and all three of us had them done. It’s seriously the coolest Disney souvenir I’ve ever seen. Plus, it’s under $20, which makes it even more awesome!– Heather
The best Disney-themed gift I received this year was a Mickey Mouse mug and mug warmer that I received from my husband. I am a coffee fanatic but too often I leave my mugs around the house and they get cold! This mug warmer is the perfect addition to my home and will ensure I always enjoy a hot cup of coffee!– Vy
The best Disney-themed gift I received this year was a gift from my husband. For Christmas he gave me a very beautifully framed giclée of Jeff Granito’s Congratulations and Condolences, an amazing piece of art which celebrates the infamous Haunted Mansion Bride. As someone who has always loved the Haunted Mansion, it was the perfect addition to my own treasure trove of Disney and Disneyland collectibles. – Beth
