This post is going to really test the “Almost” in my (Almost) Wordless Wednesday. The Walt Disney Archives was well represented at the D23 Expo with an impressive exhibit featuring props and costumes from favorite television shows and movies dating back to the Mickey Mouse Club and Zorro. The exhibit was perhaps the most popular attraction at the expo with a line of at least an hour.
The night before the Expo officially opened to fans, I shared this video of the exhibit.
I am pleased to share with you these photographs, as well.
The picture above is an iconic picture of Walt Disney aboard the Disneyland Railroad. The Mickey Mouse in the picture below is the very Mickey in that picture.
The book from the opening of Sleeping Beauty was a big thrill for many visiting the archives.
There were a variety of props and costumes from Alice in Wonderland.

The Expo did not disappoint Pirates of the Caribbean fans by providing the opportunity to be up close with a variety of props and costumes from the films.
This ship is a “miniture” used in the Pirates movies.
LOST fans were particularly thrilled to see iconic costumes and props from the series.
