Let’s face it. Whether you are saving for your family’s dream vacation to Disneyland, a day trip, or an annual pass, saving up for Mickey and his friends is not easy–especially with the current state of the economy.
My family and I use the Disney Rewards Visa in order to help save toward our annual passes each year. We charge many of our family’s purchases and monthly insurance premiums, etc. We don’t keep a running balance (we pay it off every month), but by using it we earn Disney Dream Dollars that we can use toward our annual passes.
The Disney Rewards Visa offers its users a host of benefits, and while the benefits reach far beyond trips to Disneyland, here’s what you get at the Happiest Place on Earth in beautiful California:
• Go to the Hollywood Backlot at Disney California Adventure park for a special meet and pose with your favorite Disney characters near Monsters Inc., Mike and Sully to the Rescue
• Get 10% off select merchandise locations throughout the resort when you purchase $50 or more. (Does not apply at outdoor merchandise carts.) Be sure to ask a Cast Member if you can use your discount before heading to the register to save yourself a potential headache.
• Hungry? Receive 10% off at Big Thunder Ranch, Rancho del Zocalo, Hungry Bear, Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill, Goofy’s Kitchen, Steakhouse 55, Disney’s PCH Grill, and Storytellers Cafe
• Wanna hang out in Downtown Disney? Receive 10% off at La Brea Bakery Café, Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen, Wetzel’s Pretzels, Basin (purchases of $10 or more), littlemissmatche, Palace 4 Paws, RIDEMAKERZ, and Alamo® Rent-A-Car. Card member get 20% off select Quiksilver purchases and over at ESPN ZONE, get 10% off merchandise purchases of $50 or more and receive Double Arena points when purchasing a $20 or more value Arena Game Card.
• Receive 20% off the non-discounted price on the following guided tours: Welcome to Disneyland, A Walk in Walt’s Footsteps, Discover the Magic and Cruzin’ Disney California Adventure Park. Tour reservations may be made up to 30 days in advance and are recommended. Call (714) 781-4400 or go to Guided Tour Welcome Center at Disneyland
• Perhaps best of all, card members are able to take advantage of extra special vacation packages and an exclusive card member phone line that with specially trained Disneyland Travel experts. (866) 844-9382
If you apply for your Disney Rewards Card Visa by clicking here, you will receive a $25 Disney gift card after making your first purchase with the card. When prompted, please enter the code “CZSL” and my cardmember ID “14589744“. You can also apply by calling(800) 943-8319. Please have the codes above handy when you call.
I love using my Disney Rewards Visa. It’s a huge help toward making my family’s Disneyland dreams come true and I know it can help your family too.

I love my Disney Visa card too. We have been able to save a lot of rewards dollars, especially the year we built our new house and paid for all our upgrades with the Disney Visa card. Plus, as you listed here, there are a lot of benefits in the parks for Visa card holders.
