My Terrific Tip [for] Tuesday: Bring your poncho to the park! Stay dry and comfortable all day without having to give up your favorite laughing place!
Once upon a time it rained while we were visiting the parks and we purchased these Disneyland Resort ponchos to stay dry. On a return trip we packed them up in case of rain, and brought them along again. Well, when it came time for us to take a trip down Splash Mountain, but the weather wasn’t quite right for a good soaking, our ponchos were the easy and obvious solution!
Although we’ve long worn out those first Disneyland ponchos, we’ve bought multiple sets since then to bring along on all of our Disney trips. Because they pack up so small and light, we’ve been known to bring one for everybody – you can even find them in the $1 section at Target from time to time. In the summer months I prefer to go without the poncho, but in the cooler weather I’m always glad I have one – and even tuck my shoes up under it when we are splashing down (great for Grizzly River Rapids in DCA too!).
