I spent last weekend at the Disneyland Resort. On Saturday, I was part of a VIP tour of the resort with the other two thirds of the Three Disneyland Moms, Marcy Massura and Suzanne Broughton. Along with their lovely families, we toured Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure. In the past, I’ve made no secret of the fact that I love Disneyland in the fall. From the 300 decorated pumpkins on Main Street to the orange, yellow, and rust-colored mums in the flower beds, the park is aglow with the warm colors of autumn. In my post last week about Disneyland at Halloween time, promised pictures…and here they are!
The Haunted Mansion is all decked out for Halloween |
It is Haunted Mansion Holiday inside the mansion with Jack Skellington and all of his friend. |
Online media were treated to a little performance from Disney villains. |
We even got a chance to take pictures with the wicked queen from my favorite movie, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. |
Even my little guy had a blast! |
Mickey hosted us for a special meal and show at Big Thunder BBQ. |
He and Minnie were happy to pose with us. |
If you haven’t been to Big Thunder BBQ, it is a lot of fun for the whole family. The food is EXCELLENT and it’s all you can eat! The show is really cute and interactive. It changes with the seasons. |
It’s a great opportunity to get pictures with the characters. The only spot in the park without a long line to snap a pic! You can make reservations ahead of time by calling 714-781-DINE. |
One word: YUM! |
We ended day with reserved seats for World of Color. |
Thanks to the Disneyland Resort for hosting us for such a great day and for the cute mouse ears! |

I was just at Disneyland with my family last week. I am making a video about our visit. I hope you don’t mind if I borrow your picture of the giant pumpkin on main street. I didn’t get a chance to take a picture of it. I will show you what I do with it.

Actually, the picture of the pumpkin on the lamp post was taken by my friend, Suzanne Broughton. She can be reached over at her blog, http://blogs.ocfamily.com/2010/10/10/check-out-my-new-blog-disneyland-locals/
Thanks for asking. That is very nice of you!!! 🙂
