With all of the exciting and unique aspects of the Disneyland Resort, it is no surprise that there are also places within each park where guests can find unique and themed merchandise. Although many merchandise locations often carry the same merchandise lines, there are locations that are more specific and unique. Here are some of the most notable:
Pieces of Eight – If you’re looking for pirate merchandise, mark an X on Pieces of Eight on your park map. Located at the exit of the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction in Disneyland, this location carries all things pirate. From swords and eye patches to figurines and bags of treasure, Pieces of Eight is sure to have something for the pirate in your family. Merchandise here is themed after the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, as well as the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Read Lisa’s review of the store here.

Embarcadero Gifts – Swim on over to Embarcadero Gifts for gadgets and gizmos a-plenty — all themed after The Little Mermaid. Since one of my closest friends and my sister are both huge Ariel fans, I always head here when shopping for them. Embarcadero Gifts, located across from The Little Mermaid — Ariel’s Undersea Adventure attraction inside Disney California Adventure, also sells some World of Color themed merchandise.
Arribas Brother Crystal Shops – Though it may seem a little nerve wracking to walk through these stores, the Arribas Brother Crystal Shops (one on Main Street, USA and the other in New Orleans Square) literally glimmer with beautiful crystal figurines and glasses. One day I’ll own the Mickey and Minnie champagne glasses sold here!
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique – Shop like a princess! At BBB, you’ll be able to treat your little princess to a royal treatment (which you can read about here). This is a great location to find a broad selection of Disney Princess merchandise.
Disney Gallery and Disneyana – Located on Main Street, these two locations carry a fantastic selection of artwork and limited edition figurines and collectables. The Disney Gallery is currently hosting the “All Aboard… A Grand Circle Tour of the Trains of Disney” exhibit, featuring artwork and merchandise inspired by Walt’s love of locomotives.
Star Trader – Though Star Trader in Tomorrowland carries a broad variety of Disneyland merchandise, it is known for its extensive selection of Star Wars merchandise. If Disney characters dressed as Star Wars characters is what you’re looking for, then Star Trader’s figurine collection will satisfy your hunt. Along with these figurines and other Star Wars merchandise, Star Trader is the only place to purchase and make your own build your own light saber.
Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost – Grab your whip, hat, and fear of snakes and head over to Adventureland for all Indiana Jones merchandise. Adventurers, young and old, can find clothing, toys, and collectable merchandise at the Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost.
