Each year, the Disneyland Resort holds a special ceremony to celebrate the official lighting of “it’s a small world’s” Holiday’s brilliant holiday lights. As in recent years, the Disneyland Resort has partnered with Sylvania to bring the magic of the holiday season to life at “it’s a small world,” and this year, the Resort and Sylvania worked the nonprofit Operation Homefront to honor Marine Corps. Staff Sergeant Mark Plummer, who earned a purple heart in Fallujah, Iraq. He and his beautiful wife and darling children helped flip the switch and officially begin the holiday season at “The Happiest Place on Earth.”
I am honored to have attended the ceremony and I am thrilled to be able to share this special ceremony with all of the Babes In Disneyland readers with the video below.

Thank you for sharing this! What an amazing experience for that family. My husband is a former Marine so the fact that Disney has really started to reach out to the military community in recent years just warms my heart and makes me love them even more.
