There’s lots of great Disney movies out there and some get more pomp and circumstance than others. The Great Mouse Detective is one of those movies that just doesn’t get the attention it deserves. For the first time in high definition and sound, “The Great Mouse Detective” Mystery in the Mist Edition is a 2-Disc Blu-ray Combo Pack and HD Digital in stores now. 

When the diabolical Professor Ratigan kidnaps London’s master toymaker, the brilliant Basil of Baker Street and his trusted sidekick Dawson try to elude the ultimate trap and foil the perfect crime. My boys absolutely love the adventure and mystery of this movie. It is funny with bits of slap-stick for my 5 year old and smart for my 7 year old who fancies himself an inventor. 

This is one of those movies that’s great for movie night or a rainy day and some hot cocoa. As a mom, I like that this is a Disney movie that makes kids think. As a Disney fan, I love that it is a fun adventure we can enjoy again and again!
