Earlier this week, ABC Studios announced the August home entertainment debut of enchanting breakout hit ‘Once Upon A Time.’ The first season will be available on DVD and Blu-ray August 28, 2012.
These release will allow fans to dig deeper into these popular series with never-before-seen material, such as exclusive bonus features, deleted scenes, blooper reels and featurettes on favorite characters. Each allows fans the chance to relive all their favorite moments uninterrupted, catch up on missed episodes and share their love for some of the best new series on TV with friends and family.
I am a HUGE ‘Once Upon A Time’ fan. It is my absolute favorite show on television and if you haven’t been sucked into Storybrook yet, it’s not too late to catch up on the ABC website or get the DVDs when they come out and really give your inner fairy tale nerd a summer treat. As a Disney fan, I love picking out the Disney elements in the show. Did you know that the show’s creators actually researched all of the fairy tales at the Disney Archives? Did you know that Ginnifer Goodwin who plays Snow White is a giant Disney fan and Snow White is her favorite character? It’s details like that that keep me coming back each and every week. Once you start watching, you’ll be addicted. I promise.

Love love love this show! I’m a little sad the season will be ending next week but can’t wait to see what the writers have for us next season.
It’s one of my 2 favorite shows, and I’m so glad I started watching. I’ve got to say, they’ve thrown some curve balls as us recently! Now I can’t wait for the return (at some point) of characters we haven’t seen in a while, and for what new characters they’re going to introduce.
