The Disneyland Resort has announced the dates for this year’s Halloweentime celebration! From September 15th through October 31, 2017 guests can enjoy all of the frightfully delightful Halloween fun at Disneyland and new this year guests can venture across the esplanade to enjoy time at Disney California Adventure Park before the start of the party.
One of the highlights of the Halloweentime celebration is Mickey’s Halloween Party. Mickey’s Halloween Party is a separate ticket event that takes place on select nights in September and October. This year’s ticket prices start at $85 for Annual Passholders and $95 for non-Annual Passholders. Prices also depend on the date purchased as well as the party date. Tickets to Mickey’s Halloween Party allow guests entry into the Disneyland Resort up to 3 hours prior to the party start time.
Highlights for this Year’s Party Include:
- Once the official party time starts guests who are at Disney California Adventure Park must return to Disneyland
- Ride of the Headless Horseman, a haunted herald who leads the Frightfully Fun Parade down Main Street, U.S.A.—presented exclusively during Mickey’s Halloween Party
- Halloween Screams, a supernatural fireworks celebration presented exclusively during Mickey’s Halloween Party (weather permitting)
- Trick-or-treat stations offering candy and healthy goodies
- A chance to meet, greet and pose with some dastardly Disney Villains and popular Disney Pals decked out in Halloween costumes
- New for Mickey’s Halloween Party: Souvenir Disney PhotoPass photos taken during the event, with unlimited PhotoPass downloads to enjoy later
- Mickey’s Halloween Party Dining Package at Blue Bayou—additional costs apply; reservations required
Back also this year are the seasonal Halloween attraction overlays including Ghost Galaxy Space Mountain and Haunted Mansion Holiday (the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay).
Ticket Sales for Mickey’s Halloween Party
- July 21 – Tickets for Mickey’s Halloween Party are already on sale for Disneyland Resort Annual Passholders, with advanced ticket pricing ranging from $85-$105 depending on party date.
- July 24: Tickets on sale to the general public, with advanced ticket pricing ranging from $95-$120, depending on the party date.

If you are thinking about heading to the party, it is important to know that:
- Tickets to Mickey’s Halloween Party tend to sell out quickly. If you’re considering attending buy your tickets as early as possible.
- Parking is not included in the ticket price.
- Mickey’s Halloween Party is a non-smoking event. This means if you want to smoke, you will need to leave the park to do so. There are no in-park smoking areas.
- In order to attend, all guests 3 and over, including Annual Passholders must have a special event ticket.
- All attractions and entertainment are subject to change
