There are so many different types of strollers out there, some good and some less than. Pushing a stroller around for a whole day (or days) can really bring to light what you love or hate about your stroller! Since we at Babes in Disneyland have had plenty of practicing pushing kids around in the parks, here is a collection of stroller articles – including what you want in stroller, recommended strollers, and accessories.
To see what aspects of a stroller are important when making a trip to Disneyland or Walt Disney World, check out this article: Picking the Right Stroller. (This is one of our most popular posts EVER!)
If you are the type who loves review and recommendations, well you are in luck! Here is Babes in Disneyland’s list of recommended strollers:

*Just to throw in my two cents, the Graco Snap N Go Elite stroller frame was perfect when taking infants – it worked well for traveling (since you just snap the carseat into it to become the stroller): it is very light, handle bar height is adjustable, 2 parent drink holders, very roomy basket below. With older kids, I have been very happy with the Peg Perego Aria: super light, roomy basket, lays down almost flat, has an extra large sun shade, 2 child cup holders and try, one parent cup holder, has help up well through several trips on an airplane cargo hold and many days in the parks.*
Here are also a couple of very handy stroller accessories that BiD has reviewed:
– Buggyguard Stroller Lock – A lock like this sure can come in handy in public places (when I didn’t win this giveaway, I went and bought one!)
– Tag*a*long – Moms and Dads only have so many hands, a tag*a*long is just an extra one!
And, if you would rather rent a stroller than bringing your own along for the journey, check out City Stroller Rentals!
Well what about you? What strollers and stroller accessories have you been happy (or unhappy) with – what do you like to recommend to your friends?

I have gone to both Disneyland and Disney World with the UPPAbabu G-Lite Stroller. It only weighs 8.3 lbs and it holds kids weighing up to 50lbs and has a handy shoulder strap. I love it!

Ooh, thanks @Donna – I’ll have to check that one out!

Have you used your buggy guard yet? I have one but haven’t used it at Disneyland. I am a bit apprehensive of taking our expensive stroller when we go for our 16mos old, but in the end she’s more comfortable in it and it’s easier for me to push (I’ll be 28 weeks pregnant).
I intend on locking the back wheel and not to anything like a fence or light post.
Thanks so much! I love your blog! So helpful now that I have a little one going to the parks with us 🙂

I have used it at Disneyland! I typically put the chain through both back wheels and through the strap of the diaper bag, in the basket underneath. We always keep valuable with us, but leave all the diapers, baby food, etc. – I like that we don’t have to haul all the bags out of the stroller every time we get on a ride.

We just bought and brought a Britax B-Agile Double and loved it!! We have a 3 and 4 year old and it was great in the airport and in the parks. We used the Buggyguard through a wheel and the frame just for piece of mind and it definitely made me feel better. 🙂

I was just struggling with this very question because I have a 5 year old who is in-between being able to walk around and getting so tired he can’t. Plus I’m a single Mom with a Disney pass and end up going a lot by ourselves. I need something to haul my son (with all our stuff) back to the parking lot (I park where I dont’ use the trams). So….I ended up purchasing the Gogo Babyz Double Wagon stroller (for up to age 10 or 150 lbs). It has a a handle to pull and also a stroller bar to push. I got a great deal on it on the internet and just love it. It manuevers like a stroller and carries all our stuff without my son looking to “big” for the stroller. The only draw back is that there is no sun shade so I’m looking for one right now that will fit. All in all it’s a great option and can accommodate 2 kids at once (if you get the double, not single).

Oh…and I have the buggy guard lock as well….love it. The only drawback on that is my son is always so excited about getting on the rides that it can be a little time consuming and cumbersome to lock EVERYTIME….so I don’t. Only when I know I’ll be away from the stroller for a long time (longer lines).
