On November 18, Mickey Mouse officially hit the big 9-0 and Disney Parks around the world pulled out all the stops for this amazing milestone for Mickey, the true original! We also want to share the love with Miss Minnie Mouse too – happy birthday to you!

Mickey and Minnie have played a major part in our lives here at Babes in Disneyland and the same can be said for all of our wonderful readers and followers. Here is a selection of great photos that you submitted posing with the birthday mouse himself!

Yesterday, some members of the Babes in Disneyland team celebrated at the Disneyland Resort, getting the coveted Mickey sipper cup, and trying delectable treats, like the cookies & cream beignets and the celebration churros!

Yet the festivities aren’t going to end right there! The Disneyland Resort announced a new celebration for 2019 known as “Get Your Ears On!”

The celebration of the most magical duo, Mickey and Minnie Mouse includes a new nighttime projection show, the return of Mickey’s Soundsational Parade with new elements, as well as new food, drink, and merchandise!

• “Mickey’s Mix Magic” – Starting January 18, this new high-energy projection show will light up the night. DJ Mickey will be on hand to create a family-friendly dance party throughout the parks. You can expect projections over at the Rivers of America as well as it’s a small world as well! On select nights, the show will go high in the sky with that addition of fireworks!
• Mickey’s Soundsational Parade – Back after a brief hiatus, the popular Soundsational Parade returns January 25 with a rockin’ new opening featuring Mickey, Chip n’ Dale on a giant celebration cake, and more!
• Valentine’s Month – From January 22-February 18, 2019, celebrate Mickey and Minnie’s love with a new floral portrait at the Disneyland entrance and festive decor throughout the parks! There will also be a special scavenger hunt called Minnie’s Valentine Surprise!

You can also expect new Mickey and Minnie-shapes merchandise, a new celebration sipper, and new popcorn buckets to make their debut in time for the 90th! There’s so much to look forward to, so are you ready to get your ears on? We are!As Walt Disney once said, “It all started with a mouse” – and we are so happy it did!
