I always pop into WonderGround Gallery when I pass through the Downtown Disney District. It’s so interesting to see favorite Disney characters, films and icons through the eyes of the up-and-coming artists whose work is showcased there. It’s my favorite spot to pick up a unique souvenir—from home décor and knickknacks, to clothing and works of art. I’ve also enjoyed attending the artist signing events, where I got some amazing pieces autographed and was able to chat with the talented artists in person.
The World of Disney Store is the end-all-be-all of Disney Stores, but I can’t go to Downtown Disney without visiting Something Silver. It’s a great little jewelry store with prices beginning at the highly affordable. It’s not a “Disney” store – but it’s special to me because on our honeymoon visit to Disneyland my husband bought me a special silver necklace from Something Silver, and then on our first visit with our newborn son he bought me a birthstone charm and letter stamp charm to add to the chain.
Hands down my favorite store to visit in Downtown Disney is World of Disney. I love to shop and am never disappointed by the selection of items carried in that store. It’s so cool to go around to each section of the store (i.e. clothing, art, jewelry, home) and see the items that feature my very favorite Mouse.
Admittedly, my family and I do not spend a lot of time in Downtown Disney, but I will say that I love shopping at World of Disney! The selection is outstanding! Plus, if you want to purchase Disney Dollars, it is a great alternative to waiting in line at the ticket booths.
My favorite store at Downtown Disney is the World of Disney store – I love looking at the window displays and finding great Disney gifts when I don’t get the chance to pick anything up from the actual Parks.
Those are our favorites. Now… share yours! We’d love to hear what you have to say!
