I love the Mad Tea Party (also known as the “teacups”) for a lot of reasons. I love that it almost always has a really fast line, even when it looks like it will take forever. I love the bright colors of the cups; they just make me happy. Perhaps most of all, I love their iconic status as a Disneyland-must. There’s something so simple and nostalgic about watching the park go by while sitting in a teacup.
There’s one thing I don’t care for when it comes to the Mad Tea Party, and that’s the actual spinning part. I don’t spin our teacup…ever…and my kids know that spinning is off limits. My son was elated to get to go on the teacups with my dad recently, but probably learned the meaning of the phrase “be careful what you wish for” in the process.

Wow it looks like they really got going! I too love the teacups for all the same reasons 🙂 I’m okay with a little spinning though!
