Meet the Moms Behind “Babes in Disneyland”
Babes In Disneyland was one of the first Disney “mommy” blogs on the Internet and has been a source insider knowledge and practical tips and tricks for millions of families planning trips to the “Happiest Place on Earth. Working one-on-one with the Walt Disney Company to provide the very latest from the Disneyland Resort and beyond, Babes In Disneyland has a strict “no rumor” policy, which means every tip and piece of information can be trusted.
Lisa Robertson
Is the owner and founder of Babes In Disneyland. She is best known for her book, “Babes In Disneyland: The ultimate Disneyland Resort guide for families with young children–the only Disneyland planning guide for families with babies, toddlers, and preschoolers” and YouTube channel that features many exclusive looks behind the Disney magic. She is a former Disneyland tour guide and writer for the resort and has also written about Disneyland for the Orange County Register and a number of well-known travel books, magazines, and websites.
When Lisa is not having fun at Disneyland, Lisa calls Burbank, California home. She is a PR and marketing pro turned teacher and holds nine California teaching credentials and runs three successful online t-shirt boutiques: Stars Hollow Mercantile, Charming Shirts, and Grade Society. She has three sons whom long-time readers have watched grow up on the blog that are now ages 15, 12, and 10. She has been married to her husband Will, a television producer, for 20 years. She loves camping and has a passion for restoring vintage furniture and has a collection of china and silver that would make any princess swoon.

Jessica McConnel
Jessica is an elementary school teacher and mother of two. Growing up, Jessica and her family moved around to different states while their dad was in the Navy. Their residencies in Virginia, South Carolina, Tennessee, California, and Washington allowed them to go on several visits to both Walt Disney World and Disneyland over the years. As an adult, Jessica visits Disneyland every year with her husband, Todd, whom she met while attending college in Idaho. Since their wedding in Idaho and honeymoon at Disneyland in 2003, Todd and Jessica have added two new members to their family — Liam, 8 and Carolina, 5 years. She still loves to travel with her family, and also enjoys reading, writing, taking pictures of her kids, and baking delicious, unhealthy things. Jessica was one of Babes in Disneyland’s earliest readers and has been commenting on Babes’ blog posts and on the Babes’ Facebook page for years. In addition to writing about Disneyland on the blog, she also replicates recipes from the Parks and covers everything going on in the world of Disney Junior. Kendra Kuske
Kendra is a working Mom of two who enjoys planning trips for others and has been known to email weekend itineraries to help guide friends on their Disney journey. Kendra is an avid Minnie Ear Headband collector; having at least 100 uniquely themed pairs in her collection. Along with her passion for collecting Ear Headbands Kendra also enjoys overnight stays at Disney’s Grand Californian and Disneyland Hotel as well as taking Disney Cruises and trips to Aulani A Disney Resort & Spa. Kendra loves using photography to document each of her family’s trips, experiences, and memories while traveling to Disney destinations. She has a lot of experience with character dining options and planning out vacations for first timers.
