The Disneyland Resort just announced dates for the Halloweentime celebrations for 2016! This year, guests will enjoy the spookiest place on Earth from September 9 through October 31, which includes 17 nights of Mickey’s Halloween Party!
A spooky new addition to the usual trick-or-treating and exclusive “Halloween Screams” fireworks show at Mickey’s Halloween Party will be the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow (from Disney’s animated feature, “The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad”), who will ride through Disneyland every night of the party on his black stallion!

Don’t worry, seasonal Halloween attraction overlays will also be available, such as Ghost Galaxy Space Mountain (which means Hyperspace Mountain is leaving soon!) and Haunted Mansion Holiday (the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay).

Ticket Sales for Mickey’s Halloween Party
- July 21 – Tickets for Mickey’s Halloween Party are already on sale for Disneyland Resort Annual Passholders, Disney Rewards Visa card holders and Disney Vacation Club members, with advanced ticket pricing ranging from $72-$99 depending on party date.
- July 28: Tickets on sale to the general public, with advanced ticket pricing ranging from $79-$99, depending on the party date.

If you are thinking about heading to the party, it is important to know that:
- Parking is not included in the ticket price.
- Mickey’s Halloween Party is a nonsmoking event. This means if you want to smoke, you will need to leave the park to do so. There are no in-park smoking areas.
- You may only purchase eight tickets.
- Inclement weather can impact the entertainment offered.
- Yes, even annual passholders need to purchase a ticket.
What fireworks and parade will be going on from September 6- September 23 when the Halloween Party starts. Still the Halloween ones?
The entertainment that will be offered at that time has not been announced, although my guess is that there will not be any fireworks at that time and the parade during the day will be Mickey’s Soundsational Parade. The Halloween Party will feature the Halloween Screams fireworks show. Disney has not announced that the Halloween Cavalcade will be returning.
